Stryders were instructed to represent BM who was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and coercive and controlling behaviour. He was accused of seriously assaulting his partner by pushing her down the stairs, causing life threatening injuries. He was also accused of controlling her life by restricting which friends she could see, when she could visit her family and how she could appear in public.
