Stryders represented AS who was charged with coercive & controlling behaviour and non-fatal strangulation. AS had a previous conviction for controlling and coercive behaviour against his previous partner. However, in this case we were able to prove that the allegations were being made by his violent ex-partner who was using his previous conviction as a basis to make similar allegations. He was found not guilty of the most serious charges against him following a 5-day trial.
