Stryders were instructed by the defendant in a multi-handed drugs case based upon evidence obtained from the compromised ‘Encrochat’ platform. The defendant was acquitted following a submission of ‘no case to answer’. After careful analysis of the extensive telephone evidence the Judge agreed with the defence submission that the attribution of an ‘Encrochat’ phone to our client was unreliable.
